the minimum of fuss. Remember Andy James has been supplying his services for Wedding
reception's throughout the South & South West of England for over twenty five years.

We are able to offer you a choice
of two different sized shows allowing us to be suited to virtually any venue in the area,
as we only accept one booking per day. We do not substitute the Dj or show for any reason
other than illness where we cannot physically be there ourselves and should this situation
arise you will be given as much notice as possible and we will endeavour to find a
suitable alternative, although this has only happened once in our 25 years.We believe both
of our shows offer excellent value for money and both shows are able to play a selection
of music based on a complete variety taken from the previous five or six decades or should
you wish, and this is becoming an ever increasing option you may choose the music of your
choice, of course we are more than happy to play virtually any selection of music you
request after all its your day. We carry in excess of 95% of our customers requests from
our extensive CD music collection, all now combined on our computer playback system and
therefore have immediate access to over 48,000 tracks at every function we attend, if we
don't have it there's a good chance we can trace it and purchase it within a few days ! So
if you have a "Special" First Dance request, or in fact any track let us know in
good time. Oh yes we are equipped with a volume control, so no matter what volume you
require we are pleased to accommodate you, your guests, or of course the venue.
Our "SILVER" show is our
smaller show and is a scaled down version of our larger gold show. We use three way Mackie®
speakers providing a quality Hi-Fi sound. This show is designed and more suited for the
average size wedding of upto 150 evening guests, we use our pc based playback system
offering you and your guests our vast music selection. The lighting is again scaled down
to a smaller size and mounted on tripod style stand's and comprises of at least four
Martin Robo Colour changers and at least two DMX Moving Heads, a further two Datamoon
multi gobo effects make this lightshow visually stunning and will fill any smaller venue.
We will require approximately 40 - 50 mins from arrival to set up this show, so remember
to fit our set up times into your evening schedule.
Our larger "GOLD" show we again
offer a superb intelligent DMX "micro-processor" computer controlled light show
comprising of the equipment shown above plus more lighting and a larger sound system,
again we only use Industry standard sound equipment manufactured by Mackie®. Our
choice has been the SR1530 Range of speakers reproducing Hi-Fi quality sound at any level,
this show is most suited for audience's of 150 - 300 + persons. We will require
approximately 90 mins to set up our equipment at most venues so again remember to fit our
set up times into your schedule.
How many weddings have you attended where the Dj has let the
whole evening down by not having the right equipment, little or no experience, not able to
play the right music for the occasion, has drunk far to much, need I continue ? Andy James

Our fee of course will vary depending on which size show you opt
for or which is most suited for your chosen venue which we can normally advise you of upon
your enquiry, having been trading for well over 25 years we have attended most venue's in
our area and we will normally inform you upon your initial enquiry so you'll know what we
will be providing and how much its going cost you. Both of our shows normally are
inclusive of a four hour set up to 12 midnight, we are happy to play longer if you require
us to but we do make a further charge for this and we are happy to advise you of this on
enquiry. We require a deposit of approx 20% at the time of booking/contract signing and
the balance is payable either by cheque 10 working days before the event or by cash on the
day. All deposits are non refundable unless we can refill the date.
Whilst I appreciate
we may not the cheapest mobile disco around I do consider our fee's to be a fair
reflection of our worth, if you hired just the equipment we use on either of our shows
from a stage hire company you would be paying around the same amount, you then of course
would need a Dj, someone to fetch and return all the equipment and of course set it all up
etc etc, so I feel our fee for providing an all inclusive service together with our
experience of 25 years plus is set at a competitive level for the service we provide.
Remember you only get what you pay for nowadays and a professional service will charge a
professional's fee. We will arrive in good time and will be prepared to start on time as
agreed unless access to the room is delayed for any reason. We do not play on past the
finish time agreed unless it is by prior arrangement so we will finish on time keeping the
venue happy.

To sum up a bit of general advice....which of course you can take or
leave, a professional company will charge a professional's fee and more importantly supply
a professional service, which is primarily one of the most crucial factors when a wedding
is involved, we will always confirm things in writing or by contract, so don't get caught
out and try to do things on the cheap this is when things go drastically wrong, I have
heard of it happening lots of times over the previous years, if you do need to make a
saving maybe have a re-think do you need that chocolate fountain, extra table decor,
balloon arch, glass of wine, several savings like this can add up and contribute towards a
better quality choice of service or product in the first place, best wishes on whatever
